Default the red engine
ok. i admit it. i dont get it. i am german native and try real hard, but i just dont get it. i say it out loudly and fast, but cant make up any sense... it wont get funny or anything...

so pleeeeease someone explain that to me. after that you can laugh.

I'm not sure, but I think it's the autofilter.

It's that or it's an obscure running joke.

If it is an auto RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing filter then this is the BEST autofilter on ANY forum in the WORLD!

maybe its from a movie:
you know, there was this guy. he was really messed up, you know, dirty, no money, no job. and he bet on a race.
while he watched it, he shouted "RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO" desperately, because he wanted his racer (named "red engine") to win for sure.
well. he lost. and then started to swear, using the gre-word quite extensively.

maybe people thought this was so gdring hilarious, that they everafter connected f to gre.

If you google search "red engine gored" all you get is someone's profile from this site.

And "red engine go" comes up with nothing at all.

I was thinking it could be something from that little red engine that could book or whatever, like the little red caboose. That'd be neat. I loved that book.
